Server Relocation
Our server relocation service provides a complete resource and infrastructure to completely relocate datacentre equipment or individual racks and servers from one site to another. We operate throughout the UK, Eire and the rest of Europe.
Due to the complexities of server relocation, decommissioning and recommissioning and the business critical nature of such a project, we undertake a full scoping exercise prior to relocation. This covers the technical, logistical and business considerations of server relocation and liaison with all stakeholders. The information we obtain will be used to generate your unique relocation schedule, and be included in the planning, reporting and methodology.
We also offer a rack design and reconfiguration service so that you can take advantage your major change scenario to wheedle out any anomalies or gremlins in your existing system. You can also take this server relocation time to bring your server equipment and storage arrays up to date, with the most recent specifications, reflecting your latest expansion needs.
When our delivery is completed, all equipment is reassembled to its agreed specification, powered up and functionality checked before handing over to your representative for final assessment.
Desktop Relocation
Alongside our server relocation facility, our desktop relocation service can be as comprehensive as you want it to be.
The core service includes PCs, workstations and all peripherals such as printers and scanners and where required will also cover all desktop voice and data equipment.
In our pre-move audit we consider the network and application configuration of each desktop. We also keep a record of any hardware requirements for every PC (including its systems and software), replicating it precisely upon recommission.
Regardless of how many desktop environments are included we can reproduce every one individually. This includes details such as left or right hand position of the mouse or screen positioning for trading desks. We will recommission each desktop as agreed and in conformance with a pre-agreed relocation map layout for your new environment and within agreed timescales. We also provide a full and comprehensive audit record trail for each user.
